We’ve all probably seen viral posts talking about MANGO’s Ramadan 2015 collection.
Well we went straight to the source to get the full scoop, and here is our exclusive unedited interview with the Spain based company.
They also provided us with exclusive photos to showcase the Ramadan 2015 collection.
The MANGO Ramadan collection has been going viral on the Internet, can you tell us what inspired it?
The inspiration comes from different sources always being focus on modern urban woman, following the latest trends with its own quality designs at an affordable price. Whenever we design the collection we think about those special nights when the stylish outfits are also casual, sophisticated and detailed. Thus, for this collection we have created tops with precious stone details, palazzo trousers in all their versions and a major commitment to dungarees, the key silhouette of the season. The collection also offers delicate and elegant long dresses that are full of details.
Where can people find the items?
All items are available on selected MANGO stores and on our website www.mango.com
Have you ever hosted a Ramadan collection before?
Yes, we have. We have been working on what we call special collections for more than 10 years.
A lot of Muslim women wear long sleeves and long skirts or pants (a more conservative look) do you have plans to design clothes that these consumers are interested in? These consumers are generally women with a lot of disposable income both in the Middle East and in the West, are you considering offering more options outside of the Ramadan collection?
The collection is oriented to cover all need of the Arabic woman in all her daily activities. The collection is formed by more than 350 color models, which include capsule collection to cover all the most important commemorations of these markets as the ADHA and RAMADÁN. The collection also includes casual and suit ambients, along with more conservative silhouettes for more traditional countries like Saudi Arabia, where lies the most important weight of our turnover.
Anything else you’d like to add?
Arabic fashion is witnessing a revolution without precedent. It is a demanding target in terms of quality fabrics and they really value the worked items.

Keep in mind their target audience for the Ramadan collection is in the Middle East where they have lots of big events during Ramadan and Eid.
We love the variety of outfits that are perfect for women’s only iftar gatherings and Eid parties, as well as some more covered options for going out.
