The long shirt obsession

I’m starting to get really into the idea of long and loose.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t always wear tight stuff lol, but it can be hard to find tops that cover the behind and make you feel confident.

Here is what I’ve noticed so far:

Longer tops give me less to worry about.

Think of it this way. If you have to tug your pants up every 5 minutes, something ain’t right. And I know firsthand how distracting it can be when you’re thinking about your outfit and whether it’s going to fall apart, instead of enjoying the moment at hand.

Don’t even get me started about prayer time. How annoying is it if you start to feel a breeze blowing up your back because the shirt looked long enough until you had to bend over? LOL.

I say this as I laugh at myself for having put quite a few obstacles in my way, all because of what I was wearing.

In light of all that, I wanted to share some of the tops that I’ve been looking at purchasing lately. Because they make me forget that I’m trying to be toned and in shape and give me a little extra breathing room ha ha!

Long doesn’t have to mean frumpy though. With these tops I’m going to probably have to hem them a little so I don’t look like I’m drowning in fabric.

Are you into the long shirt look?

I love the long shirt look Mariam. I find that you have so may options with them. I love how much they cover and how you don’t need as many other pieces to complete your look….to be modest of course.
