  1. Cool article. I’m not a Muslim, but thanks for the link. Love the blog by the way.

  2. Salam Alikim Thanks for amazing article.

    Thanks

  3. Excellent concept! I’m already heard about Hijabi figure skate. This is really amazing Hijabi figure skater. I just loved it. Thanks

  4. It’s great to see more Muslim girls taking part in all kinds of things and not letting their hijab get in the way :)

  5. This is awesome. I converted to Islam about a year and a half ago and I am also a competitive figure skater. I only competed once since converting and I wasn’t in hijab yet. I am very interested in what she wears on the ice and how she makes generally tight tiny skating outfits hijabi friendly. I used to practice on the ice in hijab but people asked me to remove it because they were concerned about it restricting my vision. Zahra you go sister!

  6. I converted to Islam in November 2010 and I have been a figure skater for about 7 years. This has to be one of the coolest things I have ever read. I used to skate with hijab on but I was asked to remove it because people thought it restricted my vision. I am very interested to see how she dresses on the ice, because figure skating outfits are not at all hijab friendly because they are so tight and tiny. You go sis! Keep it up!
