What empowers me? I would have to say that god has empowered me along with the people around me who give me support. Without the people around me to help me and support me I am not sure what I would do without them! Having extraordinary friends and family makes things easier for a person. If a person doesn’t have it, it can make life pretty difficult at times.

Salam!!! Being a women with all the emotions and dignity empowers me. I live up to a woman’s reputation but abiding Allah’s Laws about hijab and women being a hidden thing, like a pearl inside a sea shell. Having chaste feelings, beauty and vision, I thrive to rule my world, my own way. This pretty scarf you are gifting will add more confidence to my personality… so what do u say 🙂

This will probably sound quite simple but life itself is empowering to me. Waking up each day to a new start, a new day of possibilites is something in which I adore every single day. Although, knowing that chocolate cake is in the kitchen is pretty inspiring and empowering. . . at least to my stomach but maybe not my hips as much. lol

Love empowers me. The love I receive from friends and family, the love between others and the love I feel for those in my life and Allah.

What empowers me? I think I found my self felt recharged and refreshed whenever I had the chance to meet my Ashabul Qur’an community: to spend the night together listening to our teacher’s lecture about Al-Qur’an. And I am moved when he told us about our sisters and brothers in Palestine. I felt ashamed to think how easy my life is, but I’ve done nothing significant. So I encourage my self to do more and more… to dream higher and higher…. That’s my motivation whenever I’m feeling down.

I know that this is probably going to sound kinda cheesy, but I am empowered by my (loving) husband and our two (awesome) kids. I wasn’t raised in the ideal household, or even the ideal family, and so it means a lot to me to give my children the things that I missed out on growing up. I don’t mean toys, or clothes, or other worldy possessions. I mean unconditional love, respect, and adoration. And the unexpected beauty of it is that while I am striving to empower them to be strong and confident, they are empowering me to be a better person.

As for my husband, his love empowers me, and helps me to know and understand that if I put my mind to it, I can do it!!

I know it’s simple and ordinary, but my daughter’s smile, laughter, hugs, mommy and me talks and constant encouragement empowers me. She needs me, and I need her. It feels good to be needed and useful. So every morning I get up I can’t wait to see and hear her. I miss her when she’s away from me and my empowerment comes from knowing that she is such a blessing to me and I am enjoying seeing her life unfold before my eyes. She’s like a butterfly spreading her beautiful wings. It’s that special love between us that keeps me hopeful and with good cheer that no matter what…life is good.

Assalamu alaikum! Allah empowers me above all and it is He who makes all things possible for me. It is He who empowers me and helps me through my actions and voice to stand up for what is right, even if it means standing alone. Having a voice and speaking for the truth and standing up for those who can’t stand up for themselves gives me a wonderful feeling, especially knowing that it pleases Allah, and that it is His words. 🙂

What empowers me is that I know that if I keep on going the right way I will reach Jannah which is my most ultimate goal ever… 🙂 xoxo

I think what empowers me the most is my religion, especially when I hear about what our prophets and sahabas went through for our sake and the sake of our religion. Whenever I see someone have full and utter trust in Allah, like they did, it really empowers me. It makes me feel like I can achieve my goals and dreams and become a better person/Muslim as well.

I am empowered by the fact that I know that whatever happens in my life, for better or for worse, I am never alone because I know He (Allah) is with me always. This gives me confidence and empowerment to have Him by me side.
