It’s time to dissect this year’s Oscar fashion from a hijab fashion perspective!

Last night was full of beautiful gowns and colorful ensembles, but we decided to choose our favorite hijab style looks.

Here are a few of our favorite looks that with a little tweaking could easily be hijabified!

Check them all out over at InStyle.

What is your favorite look and how would you hijabify it?

  1. All of these gowns are beautiful but I also liked Leila Hatami’s gown as well! She wasn’t wearing a full hijab but she was wearing a thin headscarf!

  2. Yasmin I also liked her outfit but it was hard to find a good pic. I am planning to post on it tomorrow though :)

  3. I always like looking at the dresses they wear to those Hollywood events (even if the chance of me wearing some of them is almost next to zero!) I actually like ‘more modest’ dresses more than those ridiculous, revealing dresses (like the one JLo wore) that seriously look like someone forgot to sew on something. Really, looking chic isn’t just about cleavage and curves…it’s more about personality. On my blog, I tried to find pictures of actresses who wear the hijab from around the world. I found less than what I would have liked to find, and they were mostly from the Middle East and Indonesia. But the ones that I did find looked GREAT in their hijab, they had unique styles so it was uplifting to see.
