Ladies I agree.. I wish they would make these not that pricey as I know it doesn’t cost them that much to make them in the first place. But I’m guessing people are trying to promote brand names much like gucci dior etc.
If I had unlimited income, I would probably purchase some to wear as evening dresses to a formal function, like say dinner at the White House? 🙂

Hmm, yes and no…Im in KSA right now and while I could find abayaat worth $500 here I don’t have any real desire to buy one as they are usually only purchased and worn at special occasions…like the sorts of thing which the average woman goes to maybe once every few years-a social occasion, or whatever…the wealthy woman who attends such functions often obviously does buy them. But most women here don’t buy them either.

I personally though AM a huge fan of the higher quality PLAIN abayaat-I dont mind paying $100-$150 for a PLAIN abaya as they are investment pieces and the fabric used on those ones is extremely high quality with cording on all edges so they really, really last. But for a trendy style or something with embellishments…my max is $80 or so, as designs go out of style.

They’re nice designs but I don’t think I would spend all that money on one abaya, 5 of them probably not just 1 🙂

I don’t see myself needing a $500+ abaya anytime soon…So, not anytime soon lol. Some of them are gorgeous (I wish the pix were a little bigger!) but not practical for me.
