Smoothies are a great way to get in some fruit and what better way to sneak in some calcium and protein than with yogurt?
Here is the recipe we made up today:
Take a cup of frozen strawberries and place in food processor, then dump about 1 1/2 cups of vanilla fat free yogurt on top and about a teaspoon of lemon juice.
Blend it away until smooth and then pour it into a cup.
You can drink it right away through a straw or wait for it to defrost and drink it at a warmer temperature.
If you’ve ever had kefir this is similar in flavor.
