Fresh fruit salad is a great option for desert, but it can get boring unless you spruce it up!

To make it a little more tasty try the following recipe we made up:

1 pint of fresh raspberries

1 pint of fresh blueberries

1 pint of blackberries

1 lb of fresh strawberries cut in chunks

1 banana sliced

Put all the fruit in a bowl and set aside.

Take a couple of sprigs of fresh mint and pound it with a few tablespoons of sugar and about a tablespoon of lemon juice.

It will turn into a minty sugary lemony paste.

Gently toss that with the fruit, you can add a few more pinches of sugar and drops of lemon juice to adjust it to your preferred flavor.

Let it sit in the fridge for a few hours to absorb all the flavors and to allow the fruit juices to come out.

When you serve it make sure you eat it right away while it’s still nice and cold. Mmmm!
