Here is what you can do instead:
Peel and freeze some ripe bananas.
Get out the blender, some skim milk (or soy/rice/almond milk-whatever you use) and put those frozen bananas in. The general ratio is about 1 cup of milk to 1 whole banana.

You may have to stop a few times and move the mixture around if it clumps up.
If it’s too thick and not moving at all, add a tad bit more milk. But don’t let it get too runny.
Pour into a glass and sip through a straw.
Tip: The more ripe the banana is that you freeze, the sweeter and stronger the flavor.
