2 more days until we’re done! Hang in there, you can do it!
For iftar today break your fast with 2 glasses of water and 1-3 dates. Dates are high in sugar and calories so don’t go overboard. If you can, put some fiber in your water for an extra boost. You’ve been fasting all day and if you can get in some fiber that way you’ll feel so much better.
Eat your regular dinner, but try to make wise choices. For example: don’t eat a dozen deep fried egg rolls, limit yourself to two.
Incorporate at least one piece of fruit into your dessert after dinner. For example: if you plan to eat a piece of chocolate cake, eat an apple or banana first.
Exercise: 15 minutes of heart pumping cardio.. dance, jog outside, run in place. The point is to get yourself sweating. Follow that with 30 sit ups and 30 push ups.
For suhoor today eat 2 hard boiled eggs, drink a large glass of orange juice (make sure it’s 100% juice and not a sugary imitation). Follow that with a piece of whole wheat toast and a slice of cheese. Eat a fresh piece of fruit and drink 2 glasses of water. You don’t have to eat all of this if you find you’re too full.
Exercise: Deep stretching for 5 minutes.
